Nenad Fabijanić is a prominent Croatian architect and urban planner and associate member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU). He graduated in 1974 from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Zagreb, where he worked as a full professor from 2000 until his retirement in 2021, and in 2019 he was awarded the title of professor emeritus. During his career, he received numerous awards, including the "Vladimir Nazor" Award (1993, 2012), the "Viktor Kovačić" Award (1986, 1994) and the "Bernardo Bernardi" Award (1993, 2009, 2014). Among his most famous works are the Homeland Monument in Zagreb, the Principij Archaeological Park in Rijeka, and the Crekvina summer stage. in Kastav. We are proud because we had the opportunity to collaborate with the architect and academician Nenad Fabijanić on the Monument to the Homeland project, as well as on other prominent projects.
