Nikola Bašić is a prominent Croatian architect and urban planner and a member of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU). During his career, he received numerous awards, including the "Vladimir Nazor" Award for architecture and urban planning, the "Bernardo Bernardi" Award and the "Viktor Kovačić" Award for lifetime achievement. Among his most famous works are the Sea Organ and the Salutation to the Sun installation in Zadar, as well as memorial crosses in the Kornati Islands. We are proud because we had the opportunity to work with architect and academic Nikola Bašić.
