The slats are driven via a drive bar connected to a motor with a cylinder. The piston of the cylinder transmits the linear motion to the bar. The slat is connected to the lamella via an eccentric holder. In this way, the linear movement of the drive bar is converted into a circular movement of the lamella. All horizontal slats are always rotated by the same angle, from 0-110°, vertical -35°-125°, and care should be taken during assembly to ensure that the slats do not overlap. The engine with the cylinder is fixed to the load-bearing profile, and this is fixed to the wall/facade using a bracket. The load-bearing profile can be a standard aluminum or classic steel profile (3 ways of installation, see at the end). At the place where the support is fixed in the facade, it is necessary to insert a profile for the stat in the vertical part of the facade at that place. amplification. The motor is powered by alternating current 230 V.

The system can contain control sensors for light, temperature and rain. By combining rain and temperature sensor data, the system can "predict" snow: for example, at a temperature of t<2º C, if it is raining, the horizontal slats are automatically set at a steeper angle. This belongs to the domain of software. The length of the horizontal and vertical movable slats depends on the installation height and the characteristics of the engine.
